Giza Plains in the Rain

Characters: Paddra Nsu-Yeul & Open
Where: Giza Plains (Wet Season)
When: Close to twilight
What: Yeul wakes up on the ground, she believes that she is in the Dead Dunes.

The effortless sound of the wind wisps carried through achromatic strands against the ground, soaking it to the point of full saturation and darking it a little. The raindrops pelted her pallid skin, they were so soft that it felt like fingertips gently tapping on her cheeks. This was the first time since her ascension that she had felt a touch sensation; becoming Etro didn't really have the senses that humans had anymore. Now that she could, her eyes fluttered slightly and she opened them to see something of a desert atmosphere, she assumed to be the Dead Dunes.

Pressing her hands against the ground, she stood up and wiped off her clothing and looked around to notice a book attached to something. Yeul gripped the book from the ground, opened it and noticed there was a writing already there and it was about her. Tilting her head, she thought it must have been something important as she was used to strange things already. Just knowing that she was alive, tangible again had her feeling fearful for her life unprotected and she looked for Caius in any capacity. "Caius?" She called out, her voiced was desperate and alarmed that he has not come with her or found a way to.

All Caius needed was one call and he would have appeared by her side, but she knew that the world was barren of life. A part of her thought that this was her punishment for her wrong-doings and she set down against the ground, sitting Indian style with the book in her hands across her lap. The rain was helpful to hide momentary lapse of her feelings of abandonment. The rain only helped to make her feel more melancholy than she was when she realized that Caius was not here and she was alone.
